MNBC By-Elections Official Notice

To: All Provincially Registered Métis Citizens, Métis Nation British Columbia

As Chief Electoral Officer, appointed by the Métis Nation Governing Assembly for the MNBC 2017 By-Elections to fill five (5) Regional Youth vacancies, I have been charged with conducting the electoral process for all Métis Nation British Columbia Provincially Registered Citizens ordinarily a resident in British Columbia 15 to 30 years of age.

My first duty under the MNBC Electoral Act (Article 5) is to submit the NOTICE OF BY-ELECTIONS and inform the electorate on the rules guiding the election process. Attached to this memorandum are:

NOTICE OF BY-ELECTIONS;
REQUEST FOR ADVANCE POLL MAIL-IN BALLOT;
RULES GOVERNING VOTING AND ELECTIONS;
NOMINATION FORM.

It is important that all voters understand this information. Please review it carefully.

It is my pleasure and privilege to serve as Chief Electoral Officer for the Métis Nation British Columbia. My goal is to make this MNBC election process transparent and efficient, serving the best interest of the Métis Nation British Columbia. I will rely on the cooperation and participation of the voters for its successful completion.
